Dr. Héloïse Barras

Après avoir terminé sa formation au CHUV (diplôme FMH Radiologie obtenu en 2016) avec un intérêt approfondi pour la neuroradiologie dans le service du Pr Meuli, Dre Héloïse Barras s’est aussi spécialisée dans l’imagerie de la femme et en urologie, dans le service du Pr Meuwly. Le domaine de l’imagerie thoracique a aussi été l’objet d’un intérêt particulier durant ces années, en consacrant une thèse réalisée et publiée avec Pr Beigelmann-Aubry. 

En 2018, après avoir exercé en tant que cheffe de clinique, Dre Barras décide de travailler dans le secteur privé dans le canton de Vaud et Fribourg, où son attention se porte particulièrement dans la détection de maladies neurodégénératives comme la sclérose en plaque et la détection/ prise en charge de cancers de sein, tout en gardant une approche globale et généraliste. 

Pour appuyer ses connaisances, le titre de neuroradiologue FMH (obtention du Schwerpunkt) lui est décerné en 2024 après la réussite des examens en 2020 dans ce domaine spécialisé.

After completing her training at the CHUV (FMH diploma in Radiology obtained in 2016) with a strong focus on neuroradiology in Prof. Meuli’s department, Dr. Héloïse Barras also specialized in women’s imaging and urology in Prof. Meuwly’s department. Thoracic imaging was another area of particular interest during these years, culminating in a completed and published thesis with Prof. Beigelmann-Aubry. 

In 2018, after serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Barras decided to move to the private sector in the cantons of Vaud and Fribourg, where she focused especially on the detection of neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis, as well as the detection and management of breast cancer, while maintaining a comprehensive and generalist approach. 

To strengthen her expertise, she was awarded the FMH subspecialty title in neuroradiology (Schwerpunkt) in 2024 after successfully passing the exams in this specialized field in 2020.
